SPEED and excitment will take over on August 16 and 17, when the 2008 Zapcat National Championship comes to Littlehampton.
The fifth of this season's Grand Prix events, the weekend will consist of rounds nine and ten of the competition, and 16 heats will be completed each day,
Race director, Chrissy Winchcombe, said: "We're really looking forward to getting back to Li
ttlehampton. It's been two years since we were here and I have fond memories of the last time we visited.
"Spectators who come down to the beach to watch the action are not going to be disappointed – the racing is great fun for adults and children alike."
More than 30 teams are expected to race the colourful boats around the specially-designed courses, and the best spectator spot is tipped to be around the East Beach Café area.
Practice will start at 10am each day, and racing will kick off at 11am.
