ANYONE who thought the festival season was over for the year should think again.
There's one more event taking place in Adur this autumn – and wellies won't be needed.

Venues for the 15th year of Adur Arts Live range from the picturesque, medieval St Mary's Church, Shoreham, to the Tudor splendour of St Mary's House, Bramber
.

This year's festival begins on Saturday, September 20, and runs until the end of November, with its high–calibre array of classical musicians, free lunchtime concerts and, this year, some drama as well.

The first event in the series, The Art Circus, will be on the afternoon of the opening day, at St Mary's Church, Shoreham.

Choral music, songs and poetry will be performed free of charge to visitors both inside and outside the church.

Organised by the Adur Arts Forum, Adur Arts Live is headed by musical director Chris Gander.

The Boundstone Community Band, The Rude Mechanicals and The Brighton Concert Orchestra are also in the line-up, with a first visit to the festival by harmonica player Frank Semus.

Drama makes its appearance in the festival in November, with readings of new short plays from Shoreham playwrights Judy Upton, Jenny Pulling and Trevor Harvey.
