MAYOR Christine Brown got into costume to promote her Old Tyme Music Hall concert, which takes place next month.
It is being held at the Pavilion Theatre on Sunday, September 7, from 7.30pm and promises to be "a starry-starry night of family fun, frolics, frenetic energy, and song and dance".

Proceeds will go to the mayor's charities, Worthing and District Scope, Worthing Citizens Advice Bureau and Stray Cats youth drop-in centre.

The audience are encouraged to dress up and there will be a prize for the best-dressed couple. Tickets are £6 adults, £5 senior citizens and children, from the theatres box office on 01903 206206.
