Defender Adam Webster hobbled off on 75 minutes and was replaced by Adam Lallana in the final stages.
Webster joins a number of Brighton players on the injury list and is now a doubt for Wednesday night's FA Cup fixture at Leicester City. Brighton will hope the injury to their key defender is not too serious as Webster has been one of Albion's best players of late.
The team's fine recent form has been all the more impressive due to the injuries Graham Potter's men have had to contend with.
