CRICKETERS UNDONE BY HORSHAM YOUTH
On a slow wicket dampened down by late-week rain, Horsham won the toss, scored 268 for five and bowled out Worthing for 191 to win by 77 runs.
Luke Marshall's unbeaten 107 was his maiden league hundred, England Under-19 wicketkeeper Andrew Hodd made 47 and veteran Howard Casey 51. Then young bowlers Mark Nash and Carl Hopkinson shared seven of the Worthing wickets, Hopkinson having already shared an opening partnership of 55 with Hodd.

Hide AdWorthing's line-up included new Australian import, Michael Quinn, 23, from Sydney, an off-spinner and right-hand bat, on his Sussex League debut. He was disappointed to fall curiously to a stumping after hitting to the ball onto his pad, then losing his balance.
