Young book-lovers dress up as their favourite characters
Children and staff at St Mark’s CE primary School, Staplefield, celebrated World book Day by dressing up as a favourite book character.
Staff all came as characters from Alice in Wonderland, to mark the literary occasion last Thursday.

During the day children shared books with a focus on stories from other countries to link to the school’s International Schools Award.
Each child shared their favourite character with their class demonstrating their love of books.
