Christmas tree dumped on Sussex A road: your evening travel update for New Year’s Day

There is a Christmas tree in the road on the A2690 Combe Valley Way near Haven Brook Avenue, the AA said. Traffic is coping well and it doesn’t seem to be causing any delays.
On the rail network trains were unable to run between West Worthing & Angmering, due to a trespasser.

Hide AdSouthern Rail said all lines have now reopened but trains will be running at reduced speeds through these stations.
A Southern Rail spokesman added: “Please follow Government travel advice for your tier when travelling this Christmas, with those in tier 4 making essential journeys only.
