Rustington couple toast a new future in business
On Saturday (February 28), Trisha and Matt Martin celebrated the opening of their interior design shop, Special T Interiors, in Broadmark Parade.
Rustington Parish Council’s chairman councillor Graham Tyler cut the ribbon during the store’s grand opening, officially welcoming the pair’s entrepreneurial venture.

Hide AdThe couple, who have lived in Rustington for many years, have stressed they hope to do as much as they can to bolster good causes.
Interior designer Trish hopes to arrange links with Chestnut Tree House children’s hospice in Poling to see how she can help them.
Speaking to the Gazette, she said: “We really want to support the community as much as we can because that’s one of the things we love about being in Rustington – its great sense of community.”
The shop is Trish and Matt’s first business together, with Matt having been a private decorator for about 30 years.

Hide AdThe couple are supported by their children, Jessica, 19, and Maria, 17, who, when they are not studying, will lend a helping hand.
Speaking of the opening, Trish said: “We were just overwhelmed by the really positive response.
“Everyone was so pleased we were here.”
