Royal Wedding: West Sussex celebrates
Dozens of official street parties were organised while hundreds more barbecues and smaller get-togethers were held in gardens and on village greens.
Many of the county’s residents made the trip to London to savour the atmosphere and catch a glimpse of the wedding couple.

Hide AdColin Bickers, from Worthing, was interviewed on BBC TV after completing a 65-mile walk in a suit of armour from the town to Buckingham Palace.
He set off on St George’s Day and raised more than £3,000 for Help the Heroes and the Chestnut Tree House Children’s Hospice, near Arundel.
