PICTURES: Tractor destroyed by fire near Five Ashes

Two East Sussex Fire and Rescue Service crews from Uckfield were called to the A267 at around 7.40pm.
There were no injuries but the driver said he felt the seat getting a bit hot and stopped, then realised the tractor was on fire.

Hide AdCrews spent the best part of an hour and 20 minutes extinguishing the fire and damping down.
The road was closed in both directions for about an hour and a half by Sussex Police.
It looked like nearby residents tried to extinguish the fire with a garden hose.
