New village cupcake shop is proud family’s labour of love
Kayleigh Peters, 26, ‘jumped at the opportunity’ of having her own business after spending five years as a stay-at-home mum and has opened Kaylee’s Cakery.
She said: “I’m so proud of what we’ve achieved. My husband built all the bespoke units by hand. He has achieved my vision.”

He said: “It’s a scary prospect opening your own shop but if you don’t do it you’ll never know.”
Kaylee’s Cakery - the name merges the two names of the couple - will offer cakes, speciality coffee from the Horsham Coffee Roaster, local crafts and run cupcake workshops.
Kayleigh said: “I’m trying to make a centre point in Henfield where people can come and do lots of different things, enjoy a drink or cupcake, or learn a new craft, or order their child’s first birthday cake.”
The young couple have two sons, Charlie, three, and Daniel, five.
