Missing Pulborough man found in Chichester
The 79-year-old was discovered in a ditch on Monday night suffering from hypothermia and was rushed by ambulance to St Richard’s Hospital in Chichester, where he remains this morning.
It follows a major search operation by Sussex Police using a helicopter, the voluntary Sussex Search and Rescue Team and members of the public.

Hide AdPC Dan Johnson said: “This was fantastic work by Sussex volunteers who had been searching for many hours, but had continued their work into darkness with this great result.”
Mr Collins, who had been missing since Saturday, was found in a ditch just off Connolly Way in Chichester just before 8pm.
Police said he was suffering from hypothermia and was rushed to St Richard’s Hospital, where he remained on Tuesday morning.
Sussex Police has thanked those who had been looking out and spreading the word.
