Hide AdPetipa’s Sleeping Beauty will evoke magical spells and princesses, all set to the glorious music of Tchaikovsky, while Singin’ in the Rain will be a colourful piece in which the dancers will put their spin on the famous scene from the 1952 American musical featuring Gene Kelly, dancing with optimism and cheer in the pouring rain.
Principal Rosemary Bell said: “RBA Dance provides the highest standard of dance training. As part of this, we offer children and young adults the opportunity to take their classical training out of the studio and into the spotlight.
“The Christmas Performance brings everyone together to celebrate the hard work and dedication shown by the students’ during their dance training.”
RBA Dance is based in Chichester and Westergate and offers the Royal Academy of Dance training syllabus. Students are encouraged to gain recognition of their abilities by achieving success in RAD exams, dance competitions and other performance opportunities.
