Hide AdIt is believed the family moved to Northiam from a women’s refuge in Camber Sands after Mary’s mother, Lyndsey Shipstone, separated from her husband, who rented a three-bedroom semi-detached house in Worthing.
After her daughter’s death, Mary’s heartbroken mother ensured her legacy would live on by donating the schoolgirl’s organs to five other children.
Last October, St Mary’s Church in Northiam was packed out with people wanting to pay their respects to the seven-year-old at her funeral.
