As a change from Eco-Town chat, what about all the pub's closing

ALL I have been reading about lately in the paper is the Eco-Town.
I am in full agreement with those who say "no", but no one has written about all our pubs shutting in Littlehampton.

Five have shut in the past six months.

As a darts player, there will soon be nowhere to play.

The same goes for the pool t
eams. Darts and pool are games that have been going for years.

If the pubs shut, we will lose the darts and pool.

The ladies' teams who play in the winter are mostly married with children, and it's an evening out for them on a Thursday.

Cheap beer in supermarkets is one of the reasons for the pubs shutting. Stop this and maybe people will return to the pubs. It would also stop under-age drinking.
