HOUSEHOLDERS are being urged to step up their security after burglars escaped with a haul of expensive property in an overnight spree in Tangmere.
A dark blue Ford Fusion car, registration number HN54 HUJ, a set of golf clubs, a children's quad bike and bank cards were among the items stolen in the raids on three homes in Woodfield Close, Tamar Way and Oakwood Close.

er are investigating the burglaries which happened overnight on August 9, and appealing to anyone who has any information about them, or has since seen the stolen car to get in touch.
Detective Constable Jon Woolley said: "The car has still not been found and I would ask anyone who has seen, or has knowledge of this vehicle to phone the police immediately."
